Creative Abundance

We wholesale many great patterns. If you want to buy retail, visit your local patchwork shop and ask them to order in for you. Or look online for stockists

Nel and Jacques began Creative Abundance in 2004 primarily to help their daughter, Rosalie Quinlan, reach a bigger market with her beautiful craft patterns. Their initial success encouraged many other talented, Australian patchwork designers to join the family venture.
Creative Abundance’s prompt, reliable and friendly customer service contributed to the rapid growth of the new venture. Creative Abundance now distributes for 12 Australian designers and sells their patterns and books all over the world. The growth of the business has enabled Nel and Jacques to provide work for many people and has also allowed them to generously support community development projects in Australia and a number of third world countries, including seeing wells and water pumps built in Cambodian villages, supporting a women’s sewing initiative for the disadvantaged and supporting various AIDS patients and their children.
Creative Abundance aims to be a market leader, providing the “crafters” of the world with high quality, Australian designed, fabric craft patterns and books.

Meet our wonderful designers!

Fresh Hope Patterns
Web: http://www.freshhope.org/
About: Fresh Hope Patterns commenced in 2007 as a unique concept that became a reality when supported enthusiastically by designers who generously designed and donated a pattern to aid in raising funds for Fresh Hope Assn.- a not for profit community organization. Fresh Hope offers an eighteen month residential program to mothers and their children seeking help for the mother’s substance abuse while remaining together as a family.
Fresh Hope is very thankful for the contribution of all those involved in this very unique concept - designers, volunteers, Creative Abundance, supporting stores and craft industry who have all contributed in assisting to break the cycle of addiction for the children.

Matching Pegs - Claire Gee
Blog: http://www.matchingpegs.com/
About: Everything I do starts as a drawing in a sketchbook, and a little pile of threads or fabrics.
I love making new colour combinations.
After some tinkering, my drawing becomes an applique design, softie or stitchery.
With more tinkering it becomes a written pattern full of lots of diagrams, that make it easy to follow.
I love to design things that appeal to boys as much as girls. My work is modern, with a lot of character.

Two Brown Birds - Fiona Tully
Blog: http://www.twobrownbirds.typepad.com/
About: At Two Brown Birds, I endeavour to design projects with a fresh, new feel about them, and occasionally something a little bit quirky.
I have a variety of styles. Watching my girls play, as well as my days working as a Kindergarten teacher inspire me to create designs that will appeal to children. My love of vintage textiles inspires quilts and embroideries with a modern spin on a vintage style.
To date Two Brown Birds has designs for quilts, stitcheries, embroidery, soft toys, and play sets, but stay tuned – the range could expand at any moment!
